Kathy brings an impressive agency and client track record. She was Chief Creative Officer and President of Nitro where she helped build the business globally, culminating in its sale to global digital consultancy, Sapient, and successfully formed SapientNitro—a global digital and brand specialist network. ConAgra, Foot Locker, A&E, Unilever, Quizno's, Kraft, MARS (Dove and TWIX), and Victoria Secret’s PINK were Kathy’s collective clients spanning both Nitro and SapientNitro.

Prior to joining Nitro, Kathy spent 12 years at Deutsch, where she worked to grow from a small boutique of $180 million into a $2.5 billion marketing communications company. She moved up in a variety of creative roles, ultimately being named Chief Creative Officer and President in 2004. Kathy’s passion for creating and overseeing integrated campaigns that outperform business objectives touched many clients, including IKEA, Snapple, Starwood Hotels and Resorts, Tommy Hilfiger, Johnson and Johnson’s Tylenol, Revlon, Almay, Monster.com, MCI, Foot Locker, Pfizer’s Zoloft and Zyrtec, and Tanqueray. Under Kathy’s leadership, the agency built an impressive portfolio of DTC business including Novatis, Johnson & Johnson, and Pfizer.

Before working at Nitro, Kathy worked for Chiat Day, NY as Associate Creative Director, VP on Reebok. In June of 2011, Kathy founded KDCnyc and began her own consultancy starting with a role as CCO on the SK Energy Shots brand with Pure Growth Partners.

Kathy is a highly awarded creative leader, winning numerous industry awards, including ADDY’s, ANDY’s, Effie’s, One Show Gold, Communication Arts, and Art Director’s Club. Her work also has been featured in the Museum of Modern Art’s permanent advertising collection. Kathy has been honored with The American Advertising Federation Under 40 Hall of Achievement Award. She has served as a judge at the 2010 Cannes Lion International Festival. She was recently featured in Business Insider’s “The Most Creative Women in Advertising.”
