In 1997, when few people even knew what a browser was and dial-up modems were new technology, Alex’s experience as a creator and producer of healthcare content for film, video and TV found the perfect home on the internet. As an early internet pioneer at the Medical Broadcasting Company (MBC), Alex was the first creative executive to focus on the use of new media in healthcare communications. Since that time, she has been at the forefront of understanding and shaping the enormous, game-changing role of digital media in healthcare. Over the years, Alex has seen the creative development of groundbreaking digital and integrated marketing initiatives for leading healthcare companies and brands: from the first unbranded pharmaceutical website to the first brand team intranet, from the first Rx-branded social/viral campaign to the first fully integrated social media campaign. Rising to President, Chief Creative Officer of sister agencies Digitas Health and Razorfish Health, Alex has assembled a truly eclectic creative team of advertising, journalism, design, technology, behavioral psychology and healthcare professionals, all focused on connecting healthcare brands with the people who need them.
