“From Day 1, you are fully immersed in the marketing world; being placed on a brand team, actively working on projects, and truly finding out how the industry works. You are seen as a valuable, integral team member, working on deliverables and objectives with countless other members of your organization. On top of this, to be able to participate in the pitch contest is truly priceless. Developing a brand new agency and product image and delivering a pitch presentation to some of the most important people within PHCG is an opportunity I will never forget.”

“PHCG’s intern program creates a tight-knit community of young professionals who are given the opportunity to excel with the guidance of some of healthcare’s most established leaders.”

Ben Preston, 2014 intern for PHCG. Currently, a Global Communications Associate at PHCG.

“During my internship, I gained more real world experience than I could have ever hoped for. I was able to be part of a team where I saw first-hand how important it is to work together. I spent my summer not only broadening my skills in creative but was able to acquire an understanding of everything that goes into a successful pharma campaign. This internship is one that I would recommend to any student that is looking to learn and work alongside professionals for the summer.”

Kylee McCusker, 2014 intern for Digitas Health LifeBrands Philadelphia. She now is an Associate Designer for Heartbeat Ideas.

“The PHCG internship program is a great opportunity for interns to understand pharmaceutical advertising. While interning at both Saatchi & Saatchi Wellness and Digitas Health, I got an excellent insight into the working of the industry. The knowledge and relationship I experienced were invaluable. The PHCG program confirmed my decision to pursue my career in pharmaceutical advertising.”

Publicis Health(PH) hosts more than 70 interns each summer in multiple capabilities across our businesses in New York, New Jersey, Philadelphia, Yardley, San Francisco and Chicago. Internships are available in multiple capabilities at Saatchi & Saatchi Wellness, Digitas Health LifeBrands, Razorfish Health, Publicis Health Media, Publicis LifeBrands Medicus, Heartbeat Ideas, Discovery USA, in-sync, Maxcess Managed Markets, and Publicis Touchpoint Solutions.  We have opportunities in Account Management, Creative, Project Management, Human Resources, Strategic Planning, Finance, Compliance, Digital Strategy/Media, Communications, Business Development and Technology.

Our interns gain valuable learning experiences during the course of our 9-week program.  They receive an insider’s view of the wide range of opportunities that exist in the healthcare communications field. Interns have plenty of opportunities to network and learn from each other and leaders from many of our agencies, including our PH CEO Nick Colucci.  In addition to weekly learning and social activities, our interns are divided into cross-department, cross-region teams and assigned a group project, which they present to an agency committee at the end of the program. The teams receive developmental feedback from the committee, getting valuable insights into their work, while competing for a prize.  In 2016, our winning team took home Apple Watches.

We are committed to finding and developing great talent through our internship program and more than 40% of our interns have become full time employees upon graduation. We have developed a great community of internship program alumni, who act as ambassadors and mentors to incoming interns in the office and on campus.

The application process begins in February and internships take place June through early August.
